📚 CTET vs UPTET vs REET vs Other TET Exams – Full Comparison, Difficulty & Which One to Choose
Hey friend! 👋 Which teaching exam should you give? CTET? UPTET? REET? All of them?
I get this question daily from my students. So I made this simple guide. You will learn everything about CTET and all state TETs. After reading, you will know exactly which exam is best for you.
Let's clear all confusion. 🚀
🗣️ What is the difference between CTET and UPTET?
CTET is national level – valid across all states. UPTET is state level – valid only in Uttar Pradesh. CTET is conducted by CBSE. UPTET is conducted by UPBEB. Syllabus is 80% same. But UPTET has more questions on Hindi and UP-specific topics. Difficulty level of UPTET is slightly easier.
Simple line to remember: CTET = All India. UPTET = Only UP. If you want to teach in UP government schools, give UPTET. If you want flexibility to teach anywhere in India, give CTET. Or give both! Many students do that. 🎯
🤔 Which is easier – CTET, UPTET or REET?
UPTET and BTET are considered easier. CTET is moderate. REET is also moderate but sometimes tricky in Rajasthan-specific topics. The easiest is generally BTET (Bihar) or OTET (Odisha) because syllabus is smaller. But "easier" depends on your state language and background. CTET is tougher because competition is from all over India.
But here's the truth: If you prepare for CTET well, you can easily clear any state TET. The core syllabus – Child Development, Pedagogy, Math, EVS, Language – is almost the same. Only the state-specific part changes. So prepare for CTET first. Then state TETs become easy. 💪
✅ How many did you get right? If more than 40, you know your TET exams well! If less, no worries – review the comparison table one more time. 💪
