The sealing of the shed was carried out in order to prevent rodents from entering the place, a situation that would have also attracted the snake two years ago; however, for some reason it got caught right at the time the place adaptations were made .

“They used high quality mesh to secure the front and back of the shed to keep rodents out. Since the shed was built on a large concrete slab and the sides were blocked off by the 4×4 support beams, there were no entry points there,” he explains.

According to Dave Holland through social networks, the specimen managed to survive two years in a space 2 feet wide, 12 feet long and 4 inches high, which highlighted the capacity of the specimen.

“I had been trapped for over two years in a space no larger than 2 feet wide, 12 feet long and 4 inches high from concrete slab to shed floor! He survived the drought of 2020, two winters, and without food for over 2 years with nothing to hide in except the remains of the old rat nest, ” explained the surprised hunter.
